How Did They Manage It?

I just have to say a huge thanks to Lucy Savage and Rolf for their wonderful help at Snowball Farm at last Saturday's Festival of the Hunter teams Cross country. Lucy and Rolf met all the team members as and when they arrived, walked the course and supported members. The jumps were huge! 'Yes kick on at this one' Lucy and Rolf said at most of the jumps! They cheered us on as we left through the start and as we came back through the finish. The whole event was such fun and team TVRC was so together it was great. Goodness knows what time Lucy and Rolf got there in the morning or what time they got to go home in the evening. From all TVRC a great big thank you.

The week before, Lucy organised with Emma Hayes the Combined Training (which was also brilliant) and I've just heard Rolf lost his beloved horse, 'Ginger' the day before this event, whilst undergoing colic surgery. How did they manage to brave running the Combined Training and again give us such a fantastic day? So very sorry to hear this sad news.

Hi there

I heard a little snippet in Waitrose on Sunday – as you do! I dashed down to Henley Waitrose Sunday lunchtime as I had forgotten vital stuff for the hoards of family and in the queue there were 2 women dressed in jods saying how well run the event was and what a great club TVRC was…of course I butted in and asked if they had been to combined training! They said yes and said it was a fab atmosphere and everyone was so welcoming…I thought that I’d pass it on!
